The Indianapolis Colts released their Week 5 unofficial depth chart prior to this week’s matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.
The depth chart this week has some changes following a few roster moves. In addition to that, taking into account the snap counts from this most recent game and injuries that the Colts are navigating, we have a few new takeaways as well.

So with that, here are several notes about where things stand playing time-wise at a few positions for the Colts.
-
WR: Michael Pittman Jr., Ashton Dulin
-
LT: Bernhard Raimann, Luke Tenuta
-
C: Tanor Bortolini, Danny Pinter
-
RG: Matt Goncalves, Dalton Tucker
-
RT: Braden Smith, Jalen Travis
-
TE: Tyler Warren, Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree, Will Mallory
-
WR: Josh Downs, Anthony Gould
-
WR: Alec Pierce, Adonai Mitchell
-
QB: Daniel Jones, Anthony Richardson Sr., Riley Leonard
-
RB: Jonathan Taylor, Tyler Goodson OR DJ Giddens
– If Alec Pierce is back this week, we know who the Colts’ top three wide receiver options are. But regardless of Pierce’s status, Shane Steichen was non-committal to AD Mitchell playing this week after what unfolded against the Rams.
– Tyler Goodson is on the injury report this week. Depending on his availability, the Colts may have to elevate someone from the practice squad. In previous weeks, Ulysses Bentley has been active on game days.

– Along with Pierce being back at practice, so was Matt Goncalves. Against a very good Rams front, Dalton Tucker took his lumps. Getting Goncalves back would be a big boost for the Colts’ offense–he has been excellent in pass protection this season.
-
DE: Kwity Paye, Tyquan Lewis, JT Tuimoloau
-
DT: DeForest Buckner, Neville Gallimore, Adetomiwa Adebawore
-
NT: Grover Stewart, Eric Johnson II
-
DE: Laiatu Latu, Samson Ebukam
-
WLB: Joe Bachie, Segun Olubi, Buddy Johnson
-
MLB: Zaire Franklin, Chad Muma, Austin Ajiake
-
CB: Charvarius Ward Sr. Johnathan Edwards
-
FS: Camryn Bynum, Rodney Thomas II, Trey Washington
-
SS: Nick Cross, Daniel Scott
– The rotation at WILL linebacker is going to continue. Joe Bachie has been the starter next to Zaire Franklin, but he’s been sharing playing time, most recently with Chad Muma and Austin Ajiake. It doesn’t look like that’ll be stopping any time soon as the Colts search for consistency.
– This is shaping up to be a red-shirt-like season for JT Tuimoloau. Sunday was only the second game he was active, and he played only nine snaps. Outside of Laiatu Latu, the pass rush consistency from the defensive end spot has been sporadic.

– Cornerback is again a very thin position for the Colts, but especially so now with Xavien Howard retiring. I would guess that the frontrunner to take his snaps is Mekhi Blackmon, who has more experience than Johnathan Edwards. We should also anticipate seeing Mike Hilton elevated to the game-day roster once again.
