The Mariners lost a heartbreaker yesterday as the Orioles walked it off against Matt Brash, knocking the Mariners back into second place in the AL West. That puts the team in a tough spot today trying to secure a series win with rookie Logan Evans on the hill. Hopefully Camden Yards will be just as stingy with the home run ball today as it’s been this series.
Lineups:
The Orioles will send Tomoyuki Sugano to the mound, closing out what’s been a tough run of starters the Mariners have seen this series. Like Evans, Sugano thrives on weak contact and will be throwing a kitchen sink mix of pitches against the Mariners, so get ready to watch them flail after some splitters after spending the last two games flailing after changeups.
