Veteran Alabama receiver to miss Missouri game

Alabama football released its Friday availability report ahead of the Missouri game, and veteran receiver Jalen Hale was the latest addition.

Hale was listed as out for the game. He is a reserve receiver who has played against Florida State, ULM, Wisconsin and Vanderbilt. Hale has not registered a catch this season but has contributed on special teams.

Receiver Ryan Williams remains listed as probable, the designation he has had on the availability report since Wednesday.

Meanwhile, reserve receiver Jaylen Mbakwe and linebacker Cayden Jones also remain listed as out.

Williams has played in four games this season, catching 21 passes for 336 yards and three touchdowns. Mbakwe has played in three games, tallying one reception for 16 yards.

Meanwhile, Jones has seen time in five games, logging eight tackles with one for a loss

.Qua Russaw, Jah-Marien Latham and Jeremiah Beaman all remain listed as out, but none are new or a surprise. Latham and Beaman are both considered out for the season, per coach Kalen DeBoer.

No. 8 Alabama (4-1, 2-0 SEC) and No. 14 Missouri (5-0, 1-0) will play on Saturday (11 a.m., ABC) at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri.

The Crimson Tide aims to win a fifth consecutive game and third straight against a ranked SEC opponent. The Tigers are fresh off an open week.
