Fortnite Simpsons Season Full Patch Notes
Brand New Battle Pass
To kick things off, let’s talk about the new Battle Pass. The pass is designed for the month-long mini season and can be fully unlocked upon reaching 50 levels. It consists of 4 skins, 7 pages, and one secret skin, which is a remixed version of Peely.
Furthermore, the Battle Pass cost remains the same at 1,000 V-Bucks, and you’ll also earn some V-Bucks back upon unlocking rewards and pages. You can check out the full info about the Battle Pass and its price right here.
Springfield Map with New POIs
The new Fortnite season brings a new Springfield Island map, which is fairly smaller than the previous Chapter 6 Season 4 map. The new island consists of 9 POIs, each of which is a mix of iconic Simpsons locations as well as Fortnite POIs.

Players can visit iconic locations from the show, such as Moe’s Diner, Krusty Burgers Restaurant, Simpsons Residence, and even a Hollywood-style Springfield sign. The entire map is cel-shaded just like the original cartoon’s artwork to keep the look of the island authentic. The new POIs on the map are: Cletus’ Corn Hole, Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Kamp Krusty, Burns Manor, Evergreen Terrace, Springfield Town Square, Corruption Corners, Donut District, and Springfield Slurpworks.
Sidekicks Debut as Companion Pets
Fortnite has launched a new type of cosmetic item called Sidekicks, which are companion pets you can purchase and customize as per your preference. Then you can assign these companions to yourself in your locker, and they’ll follow you around in a match.

However, if you’re wondering what these pets do and how to use them, you may want to refer to our Sidekicks Guide for more expanded info.
New Loot Pool and Weapons
Fortnite’s Simpsons season has brought a wide array of new weapons and unvaulted some fan favorite guns to the loot pool. Most importantly, all weapons this season are hitscan. That’s right – no weapon in the game is projectile, so players can have some OG Fortnite fun on the brand new map.

Speaking about the guns now, Epic has added a new Mr. Krusty revolver, which is a long-range weapon and hits as hard as the Mammoth Pistol. The Revolver also comes in an Exotic form, which attaches a balloon to an enemy hit by the shot. Furthermore, weapons like Striker AR, Suppressed AR, Tactical Shotgun, Infantry Rifle, Compact SMG, and more have been unvaulted.
Alongside weapons, new consumable items like Blinky Fish, Krusty Burger, Super Squishee, Slurp Tanker, and more are also added to the game to give players plenty of choices to heal from. Lastly, new rare chests called Mystery Boxes can also be found across the island that give Epic or higher loot once opened.
New Gameplay Features
The new Fortnite season brings tons of unique gameplay features that players will experience throughout the match. First up is the bus driver. The new season’s bus driver is Otto and at the beginning of each match, you’ll see a unique message on the blimp above the battle bus.
Next up, Epic has added smashing physics to the game, which means glass will now shatter if you vault through a glass window or a door. Furthermore, Camp Bart is now available as a capture point that players can visit.
Players can also find a statue of Jebediah and pickaxe it to get his mythic helmet. The protective helmet protects you against a single headshot completely and then falls down on itself. Moreover, you can also find Prank Call Phones that you can ring to confuse enemies nearby. You can also find Steamed Ham burgers in houses that you can eat to quickly replenish your health and shields.
Lastly, the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant houses a puzzle that randomizes in every match, and upon solving, you get a special surprise. Radio towers are back, and you can also release hounds in Burns Manor to protect you.
