
Media day, which was covered live on ESPN+, allowed the two Zips’ players to talk about their experience as well as the upcoming season. Prior to the event, the league released the 2025 MAC preseason Coaches’ Poll which has the Zips selected tied at 11th overall with UMass.
Akron opens the 2025 season in the Rubber City on Thursday, Aug. 28 at InfoCision Stadium Summa Health Field against Wyoming at 7 p.m. and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.

Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) during our transitional business hours (Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Season ticket packages will feature all six home games and provide the most cost-effective way for our fans to attend games at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Health Field. Discounted group tickets and fan experiences are available starting today for a minimum purchase of 10 tickets, and fan experiences are available on a first come, first served basis to any home football game during the 2025 season.
