Heidi Klum and daughter Leni are once again twinning in eye-popping lingerie styles.
The supermodel, 52, and Leni, 21, both sported custom corseted Intimissimi gowns at the Venice Film Festival Wednesday.
Heidi’s version was a blush color silk gown with a sheer bodice and a ruched asymmetrical skirt, while Leni provided a stark contrast in an all-black gown.
While Leni’s dress had the same corseted lingerie style with a panel running down the middle, her version had cutouts at the high hips rather than low like her mother’s and a simpler skirt.
Leni’s gown featured spaghetti straps on her gown, while Heidi’s included off-the-shoulder sleeves.
Their accessories were also noticeably different; While Heidi wore a diamond Lorraine Schwartz choker necklace and a matching blush-colored purse, Leni went for a flashy emerald and diamond necklace.
Heidi gave an up-close look at her dress on Instagram, sharing video of herself lying in the backseat of a car and waving her dress to get some air.
“You want to know how we get to the film festival without wrinkling?” she asks. “This is how we do it.”
The duo have teamed up for multiple campaigns for Intimissimi, an Italian intimates brand. In April, they once again stripped down to their underwear together, with the “Project Runway” judge rocking a nude set while her eldest child once again wore the black version.
The mother-daughter duo has faced backlash for posing in lingerie together, leading her to turn off the comments on her Instagram posts. Heidi addressed the controversy in July in an interview with People.
“A lot of people are like, ‘Oh, I don’t know about mom and daughter doing this together,’” she acknowledged.
“But for us? I’m proud of my daughter. She’s fine with me like that.”
Heidi added that she’s always been “very open” with her body, which includes sometimes suntanning in the backyard topless.
“I’m European …my kids don’t know me any other way and are probably more easygoing with their bodies because of it,” she said.
Leni also addressed the haters in March, sharing that she doesn’t let it get to her.
“I always try to remember that no matter what you do, there will always be someone who doesn’t like it,” she told Glamour Germany. “You simply have no control over it and you can’t focus too much on the negative.”
“But there are so many more positive reactions,” she continued. “Oh, and most of the comments are in German, and I don’t really understand many of them.”
“That helps too, of course,” she added with a laugh.
