P.F. Chang’s Is Releasing an All-New Menu for a Limited Time

There are some moments in pop culture where the food crossovers seem serendipitous. Subway launched a Happy Gilmore Meal timed with the new “Happy Gilmore 2” movie because no one loved Footlongs as much as Happy. Lay’s brought back Kevin McCallister’s beloved Crunch Tators around the holidays. And the McDonald’s “As Featured In” meal with a nod to classics, like “Coming to America” and “The Office,” was almost too perfect.

So, with buzz surrounding Disney’s “Freaky Friday” sequel, “Freakier Friday”—which is hitting theaters nearly 22 years after the original to the day—it’s no surprise that brands want to get in on the nostalgic magic. And what “Freaky Friday” collab would make more sense than one with a Chinese restaurant? That is where Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan’s characters switch bodies, after all. 

While the restaurant where Tess and Anna get the fortune cookies that change their lives is a fictional, family-owned business, a popular restaurant chain in the U.S. is stepping up to bring our “Freaky Friday” dreams to life.

P.F. Chang’s is releasing a new “Freakier Flavors” menu for a limited time—and there are so many *good choices* to make.

P.F. Chang’s Debuts ‘Freakier Friday’-Inspired Menu

In honor of the new movie, P.F. Chang’s is switching up its dinner specials to include a House of Chang’s Spicy Chicken Dinner Special and Mix It Up Mongolian Beef Life’s A Switch Dinner Special. The chicken option features P.F. Chang’s Spicy Chicken with white rice and an egg roll, while the beef option includes Mongolian Beef served with white rice or lo mein and a house salad. 

Additionally, for even more options, you can order the Make Good Choices Dinner Special, which is a customizable meal that includes your choice of starter, base, and entrée.  

To wash down your dinner, P.F. Chang’s is offering two fruity mocktails: a Switcerhoo Refresher and a Crystal Ball Refresher. The mango-orange lemonade and desert pear refresher are both finished with a color-changing, shimmering component.

While Tess and Anna might not have made it to dessert before the body-switching earthquake, you can with P.F. Chang’s new Pink Slip Ube Cheesecake—named after Anna’s band in the movie. The vanilla cheesecake is topped with a nutty purple ube layer and finished with pink glitter for the ultimate treat to take you away.

Much like “Freakier Friday’s” time in theaters, P.F. Chang’s Freakier Flavors Menu will only be around for a limited time. So, don’t be a fun sucker and miss out on your chance to try it.
