Deion Sanders and Colorado football fell short of picking up its first win of the season in Week 1 after not taking either of their two final timeouts in a last-minute drive to hopefully tie the game.
On Saturday, the Buffaloes will look to reach that first checkmark of the season against Delaware.
The Buffaloes and Fightin’ Blue Hens are scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. MT kickoff at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Saturday’s meeting between Colorado and Delaware is the first time both, as the Fightin’ Blue Hens recently moved up to the FBS level of Division I college football from the FCS level, which they used to compete in the Coastal Athletic Association.
It will also be the second start for Kaidon Salter, who became the ninth Colorado quarterback to finish with a rushing and a passing touchdown in his debut with the Buffaloes. Julian Lewis, however, will also get snap for the Buffaloes.
In their first FBS game against in-state FCS opponent Delaware State, Delaware put up 428 total yards of offense and 35 points on the board. Quarterback Nick Minicucci completed 28 of 36 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns in the win vs. Delaware State.
