Florida State football has cleared Doak Campbell Stadium from last week’s field-storming and is prepared to take on East Texas A&M.
Tommy Castellanos backed up his offseason talk by torching the Alabama defense to the tune of 230 total yards and a touchdown en route to a 31-17 victory. The No. 19 Seminoles are playing for freshman linebacker Ethan Pritchard, who was shot in the head while visiting family Aug. 31.
Their opponent this week comes from the FCS and until 2024 was known as Texas A&M-Commerce. The Lions opened with a 42-13 loss at SMU with quarterback Eric Rodriguez throwing for 191 yards and rushing for the team’s lone TD.
